Accessibility Statement
One Eighty Studios is committed to ensuring that this web site is accessible to everyone. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the accessibility of this site, please contact us, as we are continually striving to improve the experience for all visitors.
We have incorporated a number of features to enable users of screen readers and text-only browsers and those using their keyboard for navigation to use this site more easily.
Shortcut Menu
Each page has a menu at the start which allows direct access to key elements of the current web page including the content of the page, the main site navigation and also a link to the main site map. If you use the keyboard to navigate these links will appear on screen when you use the Tab key to navigate.
Structured Markup
We have used structured HTML markup to create this web site. The tags are used to illustrate the structure of this document. All navigation menus are displayed as lists. This enables lists to be easily bypassed by screen reader software.
Images
Images used in this site to display content include descriptive alt attributes. Graphics used for design purposes only include empty alt attributes. Where images have been used to display graphic titling they are applied using style sheets. No alt attribute is supplied for these images as they also exist as plain text.
Colours
We have taken steps to ensure that the mix of text and background colours offers a clear contrast for users who cannot clearly distinguish between certain colours.
Font Sizes
We have selected a default font size for this web site however you can change this size through your browser.
In Internet Explorer, select View, then Text Size and then your preferred size.
In Mozilla Firefox, select View, then Text Size and then either Increase or Decrease the current text size.
Style sheets
This site uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the use of structured semantic markup ensures that the content of each page is still readable and clearly structured.
Links
Linking text have been written to make sense out of context.
Where appropriate, links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, for example to advise you if the link will open in a new window.
Standards Compliance
All pages should validate as XHTML 1.0 (Transitional).
We use a number of techniques to ensure cross browser compatibility which may cause specific pages not to validate. If this is the case we have worked to avoid these techniques creating site accessibility problems.
We take note of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 regarding the provision of online services.
